Environmental and sustainability reviews
Climate science, sustainability practice, carbon footprint, environmental challanges
The Healthcare Governance Academy provide training and development services focused on building environmental sustainability skills for staff in healthcare and other public sector organisations.
Our aim is to equip individuals and teams with the knowledge, skills, and behaviours needed to support organisational net zero goals, improve resource use, and drive positive environmental outcomes across their operations.
Training delivered will reflect the latest developments in climate science, sustainability practice, and sector policy. We will do this through:

-
Building core understanding of environmental sustainability in the context of healthcare and the wider public sector.
-
Developing practical skills for reducing carbon footprint, improving resource efficiency, and supporting biodiversity
-
Supporting staff to engage with, and take action on, key environmental challenges relevant to their roles.
-
Offering delivery models suitable for a range of learner needs, including face-to-face, digital, and blended formats.
-
Enabling ongoing learning, reflection, and skills progression, including access to modular or stackable qualifications where appropriate.
-
Responding to emerging needs and developments, regularly reviewing and updating content to remain current and relevant.
-
Facilitating opportunities for collaborative and cross-sector learning, where appropriate.
-
Collecting feedback from learners and commissioning organisations and use this to inform continuous improvement.
-
Providing clear learning materials and accessible support for all levels of staff.
