System Leadership
Effective system leadership, shared governance structures, aligning strategic priorities, service redesign, population health
The Healthcare Governance Academy in partnership with PRG Consulting have been awarded to provide system leadership on the Training and Development Services Framework.

As the public sector evolves to address increasingly complex health and social care challenges, the need for effective system leadership has become critical. Integrated Care Systems (ICSs), Integrated Care Boards (ICBs), and NHS Trusts are now tasked with leading collaborative, cross-sector efforts to improve population health and deliver more coordinated, person-centred care.
System leadership is essential for breaking down traditional organizational silos and fostering genuine collaboration between the NHS, local authorities, and community stakeholders. Leaders must navigate shared governance structures, align strategic priorities, and ensure that services are designed and delivered in partnership with the communities they serve.
