Widening COVID-19 restrictions: the right response

Responding to the announcement of widened restrictions to combat COVID-19, the deputy chief executive of NHS Providers, Saffron Cordery, said:



“It is right to respond to rising infections, hospitalisations and deaths, which are nearly at the level of the height of the first wave of the pandemic in April....
